About Minesweeper

Minesweeper is a deduction grid in which each revealed number reports the mines in its eight neighboring cells. Combine overlapping number clues, flag confirmed danger, and open every safe square without guessing when the board gives you enough information.

Rules in brief

How to play Minesweeper

  1. 01

Reveal a covered cell; an empty region opens automatically, while a numbered cell shows how many adjacent mines remain.

  2. 02

Place or remove flags on cells you believe contain mines, using nearby numbers to confirm the count.

  3. 03

Win by revealing every non-mine cell. Opening a mine ends the field immediately.

Arcade Noir validates legal actions inside the game and shows the controls for the current state. This short guide introduces the flow; the playable table remains the final rules authority.
